First blog train of 2011 - Grandma's Quilt

Wow, what a whirlwind December was! I know it seemed to me that it was one event after another, and it all kind of gets mixed together in one big long memory of pretty lights, hot chocolate, cold hands, hugs, turkey and wrapping paper.  It was wonderful. I hope your holiday season was the same!

We are kicking 2011 off to a great start with an all new Blog Train. The theme this month is Grandma's Quilt, and you wil find a whole slew of cozy, vintage-inspired minis on the train.

Before you head on your blog train way, I want to mention that I am launching a brand new Project 365 Challenge on the Red Genius Enterprises Blog on January 1st.  I will have goodies for you!  If it's not up when you read this message, check back as I should have the new post up by the end of the 1st.  I am also giving away a free set of textures there every Tuesday for Texture Tuesday.  The new store is not *quite* ready to open yet, but I'll keep you posted!

Now, on to the blog train ...

You should have arrive from Barbara Speck Designs.

Your next stop after me is Studio Q Scrap.

If you get lost along the way, you can find a full list of participating blogs on The Blog Train Blog.

Here is the preview of my mini:

You can pick this up by clicking the image above, or by clicking

  EXPIRED

Then, head out and pick up more minis! Have fun downloading, I hope you find lots of great stuff, and I am looking forward to seeing you soon!

Thank you very much for being part of the first blogtrain of the New Year! I had really enjoyed the last blogtrain with the Oriental theme and I know that I will enjoy this one. I can't wait to see what goodies all of you have come up with!! I appreciate your generosity and the generosity of the others on this blogtrain! Without your willingness to share your talents and your layouts, there would be very little external stimuli to make us stop, look and think and that process makes us more creative!! Thank you for making me more creative!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Your design is beautiful and I love it, but I'm an absolute beginner in arts and don't know what could I use it for? Can I for instance print your mini and place it as the cover of a notebook or journal? Thank you!

Jewel said...

Yes you ca print it for a journal for your personal use - but you cannot sell it commercially. You will find more details in the TOU (Terms Of Use) document included in the download.

Thanks for asking!
