Im in a Design Contest - so YOU get freebies!

I love doing designer contests, it pushes me out of my comfort zone, it pushed me to create more, and I always learn so much. The first designer challenge I ever dit was at Brownie Scraps, so of course when announced they woudl be hosting a design challenge I knew I couldn't miss it.

We had two colour swatches, both quite bright. I'd recently had a conversation with someone about using certain colours in a swatch as accents only, so I thought I'd try that. I made most of my kits very soft, almost the white of the colour swatch, and I used the brighter colours as accents. It's very different than anything I've made before, but I like it :)

I'm in the Spotlight at Pretty Scrappy!

I'm in the spotlight this month at Pretty Scrappy! YAY!

New from Little Red Scraps - Snips n Snails

Being the mother of two boys, I'm always on the lookout for great boys kits (anyone else notice how disproportionate boys kits are to pink floral flowery ones?) so I was super excited when I saw this kit. Jane of Little Red Scraps had created Snips n Snails, which releases exclusively at Stuff To Scrap on the 30 (tomorrow! yay!).
